Welcome to CALLOWMARCH, where WORTHAWOUNDTOKNOW (formerly FOLLOWTHEBLUEMARCH) lurks in the shadows of Bloggersville and posts whatever catches Its interest, including but not limited to a somewhat capriciously styled variety of art, literature, movies, opinions, and silly fandom things. Thankfully, some of these things are separated by tags situated in the left hand column, and a list of all often-used tags behind the first link.

Third-person narrative aside: hi guys, and welcome to my blog! Feel free to ask anything at all and I'll try my best to answer.

What the—-some of those reblog didn’t go through.

eomering:

Frodo made no answer. Almost he yielded to the desire for help and counsel, to tell this grave young man, whose words seemed so wise and fair, all that was in his mind. But something held him back. His heart was heavy with fear and sorrow: if he and Sam were indeed, as seemed likely, all that was now left of the Nine Walkers, then he was in sole command of the secret of their errand. Better mistrust undeserved than rash words. And the memory of Boromir, of the dreadful change that the lure of the Ring had worked in him, was very present to his mind, when he looked at Faramir and listened to his voice: unlike they were, and yet also much akin.

PARTS OF THE BOOK THAT WEREN’T IN THE MOVIE

ambassador-of-anguish:

shouldertappingghosts:

If I was a famous author I would publish a book with ten different endings which all went to print with varying degrees of rarity, but not tell the fans about it so that I could watch their confusion as they disagree over how the story ended. Then when they figured it out I would ‘come clean’, telling them that I had released eleven alternate endings and watch them panic again as they all try to find the last ending.

This is perfect.
